Women Celebrating Women
On Friday, March 7, 2025, over 160 women attended Women Celebrating Women in honour of International Women’s Day, all in support of Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter. It was a night filled with connection, empowerment, and generosity, proving just how strong we are when we come together for a cause.
I am thrilled to share that we raised and are donating a total of $6,750 to Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter! Thank you to all who purchased a ticket, attended, and/or contributed in any way, your generosity has made a real impact, and I could not be more grateful.
Thank you for all the love and support in making Women Celebrating Women such a remarkable success. The feedback has been absolutely incredible, and I’m still elated from all the energy, love and impact of the evening. The vendors/sponsors contributions were instrumental in bringing this event to life, and I deeply appreciate everything they did to make it happen.
Based on this year’s success, I have decided to turn Women Celebrating Women in honour of International Women’s Day into an annual charity event.
Mark the following date in your calendars, it will take place on Friday March 6, 2026. l whole-heartedly believe that it will be bigger, better and more impactful!

Mother’s Day Afternoon High Tea
What better way to celebrate with the woman and/or women in your life that you deeply love and care for, than sharing an afternoon filled with lots of love, laughter and of course delicious sweets and savoury goodies over a hot cup of coffee or tea.
Mother’s Day Afternoon High Tea was absolutely lovely! We spent the afternoon celebrating these wonderful women. It truly was an honour. Nothing but great conversations, so much love and delicious goodies!
This intimate event took place on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Secrets from a Baker Book Launch Event
On Sunday, March 3rd at 2pm, Suzy Gazzellone, Cake Artist, and Founder of Suzy’s Cake Angels, an Toronto-based business, hosted a book launch event for her new baking recipe book called Secrets from a Baker, at Artistic Decor Venue at their St. Clair and Scarlett Road location. To say that the event was successful is an understatement. Over 400 people came out to share their love, support and excitement for Suzy and her book. The venue was completely covered in desserts which were all baked by her, all recipes from her recipe book. There was literally no table or spot left bare. Suzy provided signed copies of her book for sale on site.
Her favourite sponsors took pleasure in contributing to her event: Jimmy’s Coffee on Royal York Road, provided coffee, tea and hot chocolate for the event, Colour Mill, Bob’s Red Mill, Sweetapolita and Cha’s Organics. Plenty of guests left with raffle products from them. Vendors included: The Paper Barn Co., Mr. Printer Inc., Vincent Event Rentals and Oak and Feather Decor. It was quite the vision. Beauty and class at its finest.
Secrets from a Baker. is a baking recipe book that has 100+ delicious sweet and savoury recipes. This recipe book is for everyone. It is geared to all skill levels, especially beginners and those that find baking challenging and intimidating. This book is designed for those who are just willing to try; that have always wanted to learn but felt defeated for whatever reason. The intention around this book was to create easy-to-make and easy-to-follow recipes with ingredients that are readily available and easily found in your pantry. It includes over 100 tips to help with the baking experience. It is designed to position you for a successful bake.
This book is designed to share the joy of baking and show that it really can be fun! Feeling the passion and embracing it and channelling it into every recipe. This book builds confidence around baking. It’s a wild and rewarding journey and she’s excited to take you on it!
